Frequently Asked Questions

We are open Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm, Saturday from 10am-2pm and closed on Sundays. *If a national holiday falls on a Sunday, i.e: Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, etc. We are open and delivering!*

 If your order was placed before 2pm on the desired delivery date then, yes we can deliver it. If you need an urgent delivery after 2pm please contact us directly at (858) 278-4220.

Delivery arrival time will depend on the area and route in which drivers are in. Deliveries will most likely arrive anywhere between 10am-5pm. During the holiday season, we cannot guarantee delivery times due to high volume of orders. If there is a strong reason why you might need to have something delivered earlier or at a specific time please contact us as soon as possible.

Absolutely! We always take into consideration what our customers want, however flowers vary in season and availability. If you would like to make a special request please include that in the “order notes” before check-out. We will try to accommodate as best as possible but we reserve the right to substitute as needed. Visit the taco shop next door! We always have pre-arranged flowers and bouquets for sale in our store and the manager at the taco shop can open the flower shop and sell anything that is premade. Enjoy a burrito while you’re at it too 😉

No worries at all. If you need to pick up your order later in the day, visit the taco shop located right next door and the manager will open the flower shop and personally hand you your order.
Yes, we do! We are known for our amazing “Wine and Design Events”. Whether you are trying to host a private event with friends or join a Flower Design class, workshops at Genesee are always a fun time. If the wrong address was provided, we will return the order to our workshop. If the recipient will not return our phone calls or if several delivery attempts are made, the recipient will have to pick-up in-store. For re-delivery, we will sometimes charge a fee depending on distance and location of the correct address.
We always try our best to hand-deliver all of our flowers. If it is the case that the recipient is not home, we will leave it at the door if we feel it is safe to do so, or will try to leave it with a neighbor. If the recipient is on vacation, we will return the order to our workshop and the recipient can pick-up in-store or pay a separate delivery fee.
Unfortunately, after we have made an arrangement and tried to deliver it we cannot issue the customer a refund. If it is the case that the recipient rejects an order we will either bring it back to our workshop or call the customer to pick-up the arrangement in-store.
To cancel your order, email or call us directly within 48 hours of placing your order. Unfortunately, if we have already made your order we cannot issue a refund.
